DC so far
Last night we went to Cobalt, got free wings and cake for Jim’s birthday, drank until 12:30, then stumbled home.
This morning we went to the bodega for breakfast groceries and the guy in line in front of us was buying a six-pack of Icehouse and the red flavor of MD 20/20. At 9 a.m.

And I have mad senioritis. Or whatever you call it.

I'm bad at lunch.
I had about an hour today to get lunch and eat, but not enough time to go off campus*. So I came over to the convenience store and bought: a bag of mustard-flavored pretzels, a yogurt parfait, and a Diet Dr. Pepper. I’m not sure why but this has been a quite crunchy lunch so far.
* One reason I’m sick of grad school. Hurry up, adult life!

Running on fumes. And fried rice.
Today: turned in my paper, worked my ass off for capstone, spent about six hours working on a problem set, ate probably 1.5 pounds of chicken fried rice, and now am feverishly putting together the presentation for my conference pecha kucha tomorrow. I feel like hell but the end is in sight.
Then I’ll actually update, and go out and drink. And update some more drunk.

Ugh, grad school
I have 2334 entries I want to post, including some nutty found objects, but I’m so bogged down with work that I can barely spare the time for this little screed. I was up until 6:30 this morning doing research and stuffing it into spreadsheets for my capstone, then had three hours of dead sleep before today’s full day.
Going to bed now, to wake up at 5 or so for more homework,...
