Since my first semester here, I’ve had a theory that the University of Michigan doesn’t know what quiet is.
Tonight’s sauna soundtrack, courtesy of some dude’s headphones cranked up way too high, was My Humps. I was hoping his iPod would overheat and die, but no such luck.

My alma mater and my grad school are playing in the NCAA tournament right now. I’m going to be the most hated person in Ann Arbor today and I don’t care. GO DUKE!

Tonight
After the gym, I went back to school at 6:30 for the lecture from the Retrofitting Suburbia authors. Possibly the last one I’ll ever attend at Taubman.
Then a long lazy beer-soaked dinner with Erin, Ang and Amanda at Casey’s Tavern. I need more of those in my life. Also, I had corned beef and cabbage with a variety of mustards.

They started with me in a hotel somewhere on a school trip, where I went to my room on the sixth floor but it was being cleaned so I thought “That’s why I have two rooms” and went to the eighth floor. Talked super serious NBA talk with Justin over beers
Went to Necto, corraled Becca and his friend Elisa together and tried to set them up
Had 23 drinks
Saw and talked to Phred, Tall Matt, and Ronny for the first time in months. So much awkwardness right there.
Danced with Justin (as he was super inebriated for the first time I can remember) and the girls

Thursday night
Just back from the bar with lots of MUPs. We’re still as ready to get wastey face as ever, but we just don’t do it as much. I think the next 52 days need to be devoted to doing that as much as possible.
