The Beer Bourbon BBQ Fest won at life. Unlimited bourbon and beer samples, and we bought various random barbecue, hush puppies, tater salad, etc.
And I had fried kale! Finally, I know what to do with kale other than to line fruit trays.

Not that I needed more evidence, but ...
I badly need to get a job in the city. While my friends are at happy hour, napping at home, getting ready for the evening, etc., I’m stuck waiting 17 minutes for a bus to the Metro, then rushing off the train to drop off my bags at home and change so I can slide into dinner probably right about 17 minutes late.

Then came home and ate cold pizza.

Back from NC
It was crazy but amazing. Now we have going away chicken and drinks with Pat on tap. Photos and stories later.
Wedding was amazing
The weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony. And it was way short. Then we had drinks in the butterfly pavilion, and an enormous dinner under a tent. We brought a dozen airplane bottles of Jameson, which turned out to help immensely.
